About Kathy Mechling, MD
Clear Creek’s world headquarters has been in Selma, Oregon since 2000. We help local families and individuals overcome their health problems, emergencies and illnesses. And we encourage all of our citizens to stay healthy through diet and exercise.

Dr. Mechling went to medical school at the George Washington University and did her residency at Natividad Hospital in Salinas, California. In 1995, Kathy moved to Cave Junction and practiced with Siskyou Community Health Center. In 2000, Kathy and her family moved to Selma and opened Clear Creek. For over 20 years, she’s been looking after the community and in some cases, cares for three generations of a family.
In her spare time, she also enjoys spending time with her handsome husband walking their dogs through the forests. She serves on the board of the Siskiyou Field Institute, whose mission is to promote science-based learning in and around the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. Dr. Mechling, is also, according to her husband, “a compulsive knitter.”
